Absolutely stunning- book any activities prior- and check to see what you are receiving we thought we were in the castle but our room was in small lodges a short walk away- we took a cab from Carlow- beautiful grounds and castle

We stayed in the lodges accommodation which are modern and comfortable. Food in the Hermione restaurant was delicious with plenty of options. The staff are so friendly I cannot afford this gorgeous hidden gem

Property was amazing! Is an old castle converted into a hotel. Staff was superb! They were very friendly, always with smile in their faces, making sure you felt welcomed. It is a very romantic place, perfect for a get away.

Dream vacation

Exactly what you would expect staying in a picturesque castle and the beautiful grounds surrounding it. It’s like taking a step back in time and enjoying the tranquility and history of it all. Staff was very kind, helpful, attentive and the food was delicious. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!!

Fantastic stay

First of all everyone of staff was so fantastic made or stay so excellent. So far the best luxury stay we have had loved it and sorry we couldn't stay more time here the lodge was so clean , well luxury decorated. Would recommend kilkea castle hotel for all . Beautiful place .

We stayed in the Lodges and they were very nice and clean and quiet. The rooms were large. Breakfast was delicious and the other dining options they had were very nice. They also had a bar inside the castle with a great view out to the gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a golfer’s paradise. My golfer uncle from US would love this place. I am not a golfer but stayed at the lodges to attend a wedding in nearby Athy. The receptionists were lovely and extremely helpful. I should have taken their names. A special shoutout to the manager (again I didn’t take her name) of Hermione's Restaurant Friday evening 1st May and Saturday’s morning 2nd May for breakfast. She was very friendly, polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful accommodation and delicious food. If you are a golfer, this will be a dream vacation. Thank you kindly, Kilkea Castle.
