'A river not as famed for its rapids, but rather for its beauty. It’s got that electric colour – in an almost unbelievable shade, that freezing water – constant temperature 4-8ºC, and some scenery to truly marvel at – a national park, actually, and we were told that trees cannot be cut or removed.' #blue #waterlust P.S. The spa was a two person sauna and a pool, which was too small. The gym was a treadmill only. And we were not allowed to use the fireplace even though it was cold out. I would not call this a five star resort.

Dimitris was extremely helpful; flexible with timing and helpful with luggage and suggestions for itinerary, taking into account weather. Rooms are very comfortable. Good temperature control. Nice and clean toilets with ample hot water.

Ioannina is the capital and largest city of the Ioannina regional unit and of Epirus. The city's foundation has traditionally been ascribed to the Byzantine Emperor Justinian in the 6th century AD and flourished in the late Byzantine period (13th–15th centuries).
