5 stars! You never know what you’re going to get with a motel and I was happily surprised. Pros: -Very clean rooms big rooms with fridge and balcony -convenient free parking -ac was loud but I didn’t mind and kept the room cold - cute hangout area outside with barbecue and picnic tables and games -safe family vibes, not weird crack head vibes that you might expect at a motel -nice staff Only cons are -location isn’t the best still 10 mins from downtown and Ubers took a while to get there -beds weren’t that comfy Would definitely book again if I’m back in Kelowna

So I intentionally booked somewhere with a pool I have a 10 and 12 year old that were really looking forward to it . When I check in the staff inform me that the pool closed for repair ( the staff said it closed a week ago but when you look at the pool it obviously has been closed for awhile ) . So instead of the motel informing customers that the pool isnt working they wait till you get there and it’s too late to cancel and book somewhere else . Seriously pissed who frigging cares if they give you a 10% discount when they should have informed me so I could have a proper holiday . Definitely think the pool hasn’t worked for long time and they are purposely not informing customers . Wouldn’t stay again there was puke in the stairwell going up to my room there whole time I stayed , told staff but it was still there when we left . Disappointing

Brilliant value. Clean units with full kitchen and great outdoor facilities. Barbeque, picnic tables, games. So much more than just a motel. Very enjoyable and so close to park with pickleball and tennis courts.

This Hotel is situated in a quiet, convenient area of Kelowna. The property has a pool as well as barbecues and lawn games for the family. The rooms were clean and comfortable and plenty of space if you travel with children. The free breakfast was a little bare bones, but hey it’s free! I would stay here again.

Very clean. Kitchenette could usea few more items for cooking. Bathroom very dated, no liner in the shower and tap came off shower while in use. Staff prompt with any needs or concerns and very friendly. Beds comfortable.

We chose this property because of its relatively close location to Prospera Place as well it had an outdoor pool. We were attending the Rock The Lake Festival and were happy that we could have a cool dip before heading to the show. Turns out the pool was closed the day we arrived due to unforeseen maintenance issues. We were clearly disappointed when we inquired but did not receive any notice or follow up. My wife complained upon check out and, after receiving lots of explanation and suggestions that we could have gone to the recreation centre down the street, I did receive a follow up call from the manager who offered a slight discount which I appreciated. But it’s my expectation that frontline team members are empowered to make things right. A heads up to all guests that the pool had to be closed and perhaps offering passes to the recreation centre would have improved the situation. We paid over $500 for two nights which is quite high for the age and amenities offered by this property.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Recreation Inn and I am more than happy. Their rooms are clean and tidy, the service is amazing and staff is friendly. Overall a very clean environment and very family friendly!
