The hotel itself is nice and relatively clean. Breakfast was full of people standing around in the middle of a small space, plates nowhere to be found, but one was able to grab a piece of fruit. The hotel staff on check in was fine but on the day I left the staff member seemed very inconvenienced when I asked if there were any nearby restaurants. A short while later, when leaving, they just threw me a dirty look and said nothing. It was strange to witness such unprofessional behaviour in a hotel. While it’s not overly problematic, most places at least try to say hello or thank you, or ask about your stay, so it definitely was surprising to see such rude behaviour from a front desk clerk. Lots of junkies shooting drugs in the streets adjacent to the hotel and one person overdosed on the lawn right outside the entrance in the morning. The large amount of open drug use isn’t the hotels fault but people should be aware if they have dogs and need to walk them (needles everywhere).
