7 miles from the city center, Kelaniya temple offers a beautiful temple, a huge stupa and this magnificent bodhi tree.

Admission is by donation and you should leave your shoes with one of the vendors before entering the complex. Tip: walking out the back of the complex allows you to get a photo of both the temple and stupa together.

"We stay in Cinnamon Grand every time we visit SriLanka. We love the set up with the lobby and the rooms.The rooms are clean well maintained and comfortable. Staff from the lobby,managers ,staff who clean the rooms are all very friendly ,courteous and professional in their jobs.They make us feel at home every time we come .
