The rooms are well design with taste and the cleaning service is one of the best . In addition with the view from the room (not all rooms have sea view) and the management of the owner makes the place ideal to someone have a long stay with his family or without.

Just what we wanted

Our first stop off as part of a month in Kefalonia. Faro Del Porto had everything g we needed but a special mention for the view from our room, it was superb. The welcome was lovely and we have every intention of returning next year. We loved Poros, an area we haven’t previously stayed in tending to stay in the north of the island. Thank you to all at Faro Del Porto.

The area was beautiful, the host was welcoming, the cleaning was daily. Food in the area was superb and plentyful. Boat hire is local. The driving in the local area was flatter than other parts of the island. There is nothing not to like!

Nice place for 1 night, very safe, very clean. Hard to speak with the owner in english to collect information about activities around. If you don't have car will be difficult for you to enjoy the place, not so many possibilities by feet

Really enjoyed my stay at Faro Del Porto. The host was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day. The views over the harbour are beautiful. Very quiet resort with just a few restaurants but all are very good. However, you need a car if you stay here after 10th September as the buses no longer run. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely host, great parking, nice place and very clean. The location is nice and quiet but within close proximity to the busier Skala which is quite 'touristy'. Means you get the best of both worlds at Faro Del Porto whilst also in easy travel distance to Sami which has loads to do. The host could not have been nicer, giving us great recommendations and answered any questions we could have. Loved our stay

Beautiful views

Good location when you arrive with the ferry. Poros is a nice village. It is pretty, has good restaurants, a beach and not so many tourists. The view from the spacious balconies are amazing both day and night. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. The rooms could need some update but they were clean and everything worked well.

On arrival we were welcomed by Antonis who is very nice, polite & helpful. He is always contactable if you nerd him and can also give you ideas and tips about places to visit etc. We stayed in a sea view apartment on thetop floor which was just perfect as you can sit on your balcony and watch the marina, harbour and local village from above. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend hiring a car if you are here for more than a few days. The apartment is sited at the top of a steep hill and also has stairs but this was no problem for us. We Loved our stay at Faro del Porto. It was truly magical.

Antonio was a really great host. He was there to welcome us and he and his Father carried our bags upstairs to our room. Antonio also gave us recomendations hints and helped to book taxis for us with no trouble at all. The property is is a great location (up a hill) which did not worry us at all AND gave a great view of the harbour and port area. A small port by the way and very beautiful! Prior reviews mentioned about ants in the room only on the floor, but it is a hot country and yes we did see minimal ants, HOWEVER we live in Australia and have much worse issues than this! A little mosquito spray of ours fixed the ants! I would love to stay here again.Recommended!

L'ho scelto per la vista mare, favolosa.

Soggiornato a giugno per 2 notti. Gentile l’accoglienza, meglio telefonare prima per arrivare a che ora è previsto l’arrivo. Sono appartamenti, quasi tutti con vista mare. Lati positivi: disponibilità del parcheggio quando si arriva. Camera essenziale nell’arredo ma la vista sul porto è molto piacevole, soprattutto all’alba: di conseguenza entra tanta luce naturale. Sono presenti tendoni se si vuole dormire fino a tardi. Piace il balcone vista mare con il tavolino e le sedie per poter fare colazione e cena. Presente una cucina anche questa basica come l’arredo, ma funzionale. I materassi erano comodi, ma si dormirebbe molto bene anche al fresco sul balcone con il leggero vento: se i gestori mettessero una o due sdraio lo spazio ci sarebbe e il residence, con una piccola spesa, sarebbe ancora più appetibile per gli ospiti. Presente sul balcone lo stendino alla parete per appendere qualcosa ad asciugare fuori con tanto di mollette. Le prese elettriche sono sufficienti, il frigo è grande, efficiente e dotato di un piccolo cassetto freezer, l’aria condizionata molto potente. Pulizia di buon livello. Connessione internet ok. Lati negativi: il bagno è piccolo. Entrando si sente un cattivo odore che va via più velocemente accendendo l’aria condizionata anziché spalancando porta e finestra. Non abbiamo capito a cosa fosse dovuto. Per migliorare ancora la qualità degli appartamenti occorrerebbe dotarli di zanzariere alle porte e alle finestre. Sappiate che non ci sono ascensori.

L’hôte ( Antonio) est super sympa et très attentionné. L’appartement est propre et bien équipé. La vue est splendide. Mignon petit port. Là ville est à 4 mn à pied. Très bon séjour.

Great start to Kefalonia

We used this as an extra nights stay prior to our villa holiday because of better flights! So glad we did, three aparments as there was six of us. Lovely host, lovely apartments great views and close to bars and tavernas. Great start to our holiday

Family holiday

Excellent hosts, so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Arranged car hire through them at a far lower rate than what we were originally quoted. Apartments cleaned everyday, excellent location for the bars, restaurants, harbour and ferry terminal. All in all a great week.
