Popular places to visit

Situated in the Alsace is the pretty village of Kayersberg. You can climb from the town up through the vineyards to the castle, which is free, for some great views across the town. At the time of year we visited the grapes still had a lot of growing time left but you could see vineyards for miles around from the top.

"This is a "conditional" five, so as not to deceive you. Keep in mind that you are in a medieval Alsace town. Buildings were smaller then. Rooms were smaller.
