We enjoyed our stay

Okay hotel made better by helpful and friendly staff. Overall the building itself feels a bit rundown and could be better taken care of - missing tiles in the pool, a small hole in our floor left after some plumbing maintenance, clean but graying and threadbare towels, the room could have been a bit cleaner... But we enjoyed our stay and felt that the hygiene was adequate. Great location by the tram! Pool was small but nice and we were able to have multiple sessions in the sauna and hamam without anyone else using the facilities at the same time as us on a Friday night which was a surprising plus. Very nice staff.

Very nice stay close to Kayseri airport. Staff was friendly and quick to check us in. Room was good for our family of 5. However. AC was only available in the main room and not in the inside bedroom. AC was pretty weak even at the highest setting I don’t think it will be sufficient for summer stay.

Awful Experience – Would Never Stay Again We arrived late in the evening with our three young children, and the first impression was terrible. The room reeked of strong cigarette smoke and instantly made me feel sick. Sadly, my children had to sleep in that smell. We had to have the doors open t 1am for an hour before we could go to sleep to air it out. We are non smokers.The pillows were like rocks, housekeeping is unavailable in the evening and the room itself was dirty in every corner and very tatty. Paint and decoration were peeling, everything looked old and dated, mixed with some modern new furnitures and it looked nothing like the modern rooms shown in the online photos which make it look immaculate. It's a 2 star hotel. If we had arrived during the daytime, we would have left immediately. It was so disappointing, and honestly one of the worst feelings as a parent is having to put your children to bed in a room that feels unhygienic and reeks of smoke. Pros: The main bed was comfortable (unlike the pull-out beds). The night receptionist was friendly. Breakfast was decent; my family ate while I just had coffee. Cons: Strong cigarette smell in the room. Pillows extremely uncomfortable. Dirty, poorly maintained, very old décor. No proper housekeeping. Day receptionist was cold and unwelcoming. Misleading online photos. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families with children.

Ultimately, we enjoyed our stay at the Kayseri Loft Hotel. The room was comfortable (albeit, rather warmer than it needed to be--everywhere in the hotel), the breakfast buffet was tasty, with a number of options, and the pool/spa/sauna area was a nice attraction for time spent at the hotel. Some areas to consider for upgrades: First, the room security. The door to the room does not have a peephole or a security lock that allows one to see outside without fully opening the door. This came to my attention one evening when someone was trying to use his room key to open the wrong room (my room). Second, we had a small issue with the shuttle service to the Erciyes ski area. Our driver seemed to wander about Kayseri before heading up the hill, and when he finally did start heading up the hill, his van broke down, requiring us to shift vehicles. I realize that vehicles can and do run into technical difficulties. However, because of the time spent needlessly driving around (heading toward and away from the mountain) the driver was not aware of the vehicle issue until we had already been in the van for nearly half an hour. Overall, we did enjoy our stay! That is the important thing to remember.

Not coming back -- which is a pity

A sad experience to be back after half a year and to see how much the place has been run down in the intervening months. It is one of those hotels where clearly a lot of funds were put in initially only to be neglected afterwards. The place is kept very clean, which is good, but the faucets are wobbly and loose, the toilet roll holder is about to drop out of its screwholes, only a selection of lightbulbs seem to function, rain enters in through doors and skylights, and so on, and so forth. But really, all of this is forgivable and forgettable. The real news is that the restaurant no longer serves beer and wine. The top floor used to be a lively and welcoming place after a long day of work. It's now silent as the grave. For me this is a dealbreaker: I want to have a beer or a glass of wine with my food. Nothing excessive, of course. But whether it is a result of encroaching fundamentalism or just the same disengagement as the neglect of the rooms, it is not acceptable to drink tepid water or fruit juice with my steak or Turkish hors d'oeuvres. I will have to find another place when staying in Kayseri. Which is a pity.

A very enjoyable experience

Have a wonderful stay at this hotel. Rooms are big, spacious and service friendly and excellent. Breakfast is good and location is perfect if you wish to hire a car for stay in kayseri. Shall recommend and stay again when visit Kayseri.

Pool was closed. Hamam smelled like mold. They changed my room because it did not have working hair dryer and lights kept flickering. Secund room was much better. It felt like I was renting an apartment building and not a hotel.

Exterior and interior is poorly maintained and appears worn. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Sheet barely covered mattresses which had no protective covers. Towel gray and rough. Floor was cleaned but had filmy residue. Stair exit to outside was unlocked allowing anyone to go in. Overall photos are from when it was new but it has not been maintained

Disappointed

Good value for money but the hotel is not well maintened. Balcony is not safe for kids. No one cleaned our room on our second day. Swimming pool is really cold. Someone left his food tray in the stairs on our first day and it stayed there until we left. Not sure if eventually someone removed it. The hotel looks understaffed. Breakfast is so so. There was also a very bad smell outside the hotel on our second day, it was impossible to open the window with such smell. Next time I would rather stay in a hotel closer to downtown. This hotel has potential thought but they need to maintain it properly.

Havuz hamam ve oda temizliğine daha dikkat edilmesi gerekiyor. Odada ve banyoda bakım yapılması gereken yerler var. 1 + 1 odanın arasındaki bölmeler açıktı. Musluk ve lavabolarda bakım gerekli. Hasar almış yerler var temizlikle de sıkıntılı durumlar vardı onun dışında kahvaltı otel olanakları konforu iyiydi bir daha tercih ederim ancak bu konuların düzeltilmesi gerekiyor

Odamız gelmeden önce temizlenmişti koku yoktu 5 kişilik bir aileyiz odamız gayet yeterli koca 1+1 daire gibi sıcacık çok rahat ettik. Havuzu soğuk gibi ama çocuklar rahatsız olmadı çok keyif aldılar. Kahvaltısı gayet yeterli tabi sabahları et ciğer yine birisi değilseniz sağlıklı bir beslenme tabağı foluşturabilirssiniz

Karşılama harika,uğurlama iyi. Odalar güzel. Temizlik iyi hergün havlu değişti. Sular tamamlandı. İlk gün oda biraz tozlu gibiydi. Ama 2.gün daha ferah geldi. Asansör var ama bazı tuşları bozuk kopuk gibiydi. Fiyat performans olarak başarılı. Havlu kalitesi biraz düşük gibiydi. Genel olarak başarılı buldum. Ufak tefek eksikler heryerde olabilir
