The room, property and staff were friendly, helpful and informative and the junior suite was clean, quiet and very large with separate kitchen and dining table. The breakfast, pre-packed fresh pastries and fruit, was enough for my breakfast and lunch (good for day trips). The hotel was convenient to the castle and town center for me, but its location up the hill from the harbor may be difficult for those with walking limitations: sidewalks can be steep and roads must be crossed without crosswalks or traffic lights.

Wonderful Oasis

The hotel was a wonderful oasis in the middle of the busy town. There was lthe picturesque Old Town so nearby and great restaurants close by also. The staff was very warm and kind and the suite was wonderful. The breakfast was so good with so many fresh local breads as well as fruit and yogurt and eggs.

Excellent Hotel - our second visits and wont be the last… the rooms all individual are extremely comfortable and well designed. The staff make this hotel go from excellent to beyond! The breakfast provided for eating in the larger rooms in room facilities is perfect mix of local products - variations changing daily…with only seven rooms it feels like being at home due to the personal touch of the hotel and staff. The only place to stay in Kavala.

Anthemion House was unique in every sense. From arrival to departure, we were made to feel so welcome! Rooms were very special, perfectly proportioned and well laid out.
