My stay here felt like a movie. After a long walks around Thamel I’d return to this safe place to rinse off and sleep like a rock. The baggage storage has been key for me as I’m out trekking for the next week. Trustworthy, kind folks. The breakfast also stands out - clean, calm — can’t wait to try to Swiss rosti upon my return. Excellent stay, definitely returning on future trips to Nepal.

I stayed here for over 8 nights and had a great time! The owner himself texted many times with recommendations in the neighborhood and checking how we were doing. The room was nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast is a la carte, tasty, and they were flexible for adjusting a few things.

Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT stay. The staff were overwhelmingly hospitable and professional. The location is great in terms of accessibility and privacy. The street is always peaceful, which makes for a seamless sleep despite being in the thick of Thamel. When I return, there is no question I will stay again at Swarga Heritage Hotel! This hidden gem of a hotel is an absolute must to stay at. Tucked away out of the hustle and bustle, and yet still so close that you just walk around the corner and you’re amongst the vibrancy of Thamel. The cleanliness of the premises was immaculate and the staff were so warm and friendly that it felt like I had known them for a long time. The Owner Rahul has done an amazing job of delivering an outstanding property that I will be highly recommending to any traveller that is heading to Kathmandu. Rahul was in constant contact sharing his places to see, eat and most of all, how to get around and back safely. We loved every moment here, the breakfast was so generous and a free barista made coffee along with it was the cherry on top!

Having spent two nights at Swarga I couldn’t be happier! The hotel is bang in the centre of historical Kathmandu with lots of sight, restaurants and shopping around. The hotel is very beautiful, clean and friendly and my room, the heritage suite, was nothing short of spectacular. Incredibly clean, stylish and modern but still very authentic and traditional. The hotel is an oasis in the bustle of Kathmandu with a lovely courtyard offering shade and tranquility. The breakfast/brunch was freshly made to order and was of excellent quality. All members of staff were super courteous and very friendly and helpful. All in all I had two great nights at Swarga and look forward to returning soon again!

Absolutely fantastic hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. Could not fault the service and overall experience. It is a tranquil haven in the busyness of Kathmandu. Perfect location and easy walking distance from the Durbar. Breakfast was also delicious. Could not recommend staying here enough.
