Good place to stay

Great time in Nepal. The hotel is at a good location in Thamel. The rooms are nice. The bathrooms are, well, OK for Nepal. There is a really nice covered patio, perfect for relaxing, chatting and meeting new people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts are good. The hotel was not damaged in the earthquake. WIFI works.

Заехал в 8 вечера в отеле не было горячей воды, сказали только завтра будет))) всю ночь под окнами лай собак. Стоит останавливаться только на ночь при острой необходимости (у меня с утра отправлял я автобус в другой город рядом с отелем) ....

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel pendant une semaine en septembre 2015. L'établissement est dans une ruelle à côté de Thamel, ce qui limite le bruit mais ne le fait pas disparaître. Les chambres sont plutôt spacieuses, la propreté est correcte pour le prix de la chambre, mais le gros point fort de cet hôtel est son personnel très serviable et efficace. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer Ramesh, qui nous a conseillé dans nos visites et nos trajets, et nous a fait gagner un temps considérable. Enfin, la situation géographique de l'hôtel est idéale pour visiter beaucoup de lieux intéressants.

가급적 피하기를 권장

타멜 큰 길가에 있어서 찾기는 쉬움. 하지만 공항에서 탄 택시기사도 호텔이 별로라고 말해줌. 창틀과 방문이 다 벌어져있어서 바람이 다 들어옴. 침대는 딱딱하고 걸레냄새가 방전체에서 남. 포카라의 600루피짜리, 오스트리아캠프의 500루피 롯지도 이보다 훨씬 좋음. 2박 예약했으나, 너무 춥고 지저분해서 1박후 부다나쓰쪽의 다른호텔로 옮김. 타멜의 악몽같은 매연과 먼지는 정말 최악이었음.

Thamel is a crazy tourist jungle. This hotel is well-situated if you want to be in the heart of Thamel. The workers are very sweet and nice, although at times a bit too nice and almost pushy. I experienced three of the rooms and they are all shabby and not very clean and the plumbing is bad and every faucet leaks. Wi-fi is best in the dining area but OK in some of the rooms. Nice that it is not dependent on the constant loss of electricity. The restaurant overcharges for everything so I didn't eat there.
