Kathmandu Peace Home is a clean and budget-friendly place near Thamel but away from the noise. Rooms are simple, comfortable, and good value for money wifi and hot water 24 hour available. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooftop area is a nice spot to relax. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly, specially managers ram & surendra helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location was convenient, close to shops and restaurants, and very easy to find.Wifi hot water and nice small garden. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the overall environment of the hotel felt peaceful and homely. For the price, the services were excellent and totally worth it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay. Would definitely come back again!

Great affordable accomodation near Thamel without being in the busy tourist center. It is a quick walk to Thamel and the shopping area. The courtyard is lovely and it is great to have breakfast included. The hotel is also close to the bus stop for transport to Pokhara.

Lovely staff, great room, frequent power cuts

Room very nice and comfortable and the staff are very helpful. Power cuts are very often and there is no backup generator which was a little frustrating but the staff gave us a free meal in return for the few hours with no power. So overall we were happy

Good value for the price. The area is just a short walk fron Thamel (though you have to cross the main avenue, which can be dangerous for tourists—we managed just fine). The rooms are clean and spacious. The facility has some balconies that guests can use. Wifi is excellent. We had no issues with the hot shower. My one minor complaint is that we saw a tiny cockroach in our room. Honestly, it’s not the property’s fault because the room was really clean. It’s just the area and the city in general are very polluted (I’m surprised we didn’t see more bugs, frankly). But honestly, the value for the money is excellent.

About 5 minutes walk from downtown Thamel, this place is located on a quiet street (just outside of Thamel). The owner and his staff are quick to deal with issues that arise. This is not a fancy place, but one that is clean and fully functional. For the price that I paid, it's a really good deal and I'd stay here again - without question.
