We had an amazing stay with excellent, well-equipped rooms and thoughtful amenities. The staff were warm and welcoming, making our check-in smooth. The massage chair in the lobby was a perfect touch after a long journey. The supper club night party at Thamel, Gaas Baasco was a highlight — lively ambiance, delicious food, and an attentive F&B team. Overall, outstanding hospitality, and we can’t wait to return with friends for another memorable stay.

Actually a nice hotel, a bit run down and needs some upgrade works, but it is in superb location and probably a good choice for those who want to explore Kathmandu’s nightlife. They even have ear-plugs in the room - which tells you everything. However, the staff has a bit of a strange attitude. The key card reader in the room didn’t work probably. Tried it x times together with their staff, but the manager said we just did it wrong, instead of calling a technician he wanted to proof us wrong. When I asked for a restaurant recommendation he said they have their own restaurant and I would get 20% off for room service. I said - I want to explore and eat outside, his answer: still - room service is best. Upon departure I was a little tight for my flight, checked out, the guy told me I have to stay until they have checked the minibar. I told him I don’t have time to wait and need to leave, promised that I didn’t touch the minibar. He was about to call security but eventually let me go. Fun Fact - I forgot my charger in the room. Never heard from them - so apparently the check of the inventory in the room is more a one-way street.

Great stay with really friendly staff. Very centrally located for anything in Thamel. Only feedback for Gaas Baas is to lower the hallway music during the night. The songs are on a short loop so hearing Lady Marmelade on repeat was a little much.
