Great stay at Hotel Oscar

My wife, son and I stayed at Hotel Oscar the night before our flight back to the US. The staff, Dantea and Oliver, could not have been nicer and more helpful. Dantea helped us the dinner recommendations and hotel transport. Oliver prepared breakfast. They are wonderful people and the hotel is very clean, comfortable and convenient.

We stayed here before an early morning flight. It’s a very new hotel with nice finishes and a comfortable bed. The room was spacious, but laid out strangely. There was a a lot of space, but not well used. There was a clear window into the bathroom, leaving no privacy when you shower or use the toilet. There was on-site parking which was great. It is loud when planes land, but they stopped around 11pm and didn’t start until after 6am. We

Leider nicht so toll

Das Hotel scheint ganz neu zu sein und die Zimmer sind eigentlich schön und sauber. Aber: warum verlegt man heutzutage noch unhygienischen Teppich? Die Tür zur Dusche/WC würde ein Senior oder ein Kind nicht auf bekommen. Der Feuermelder an der Decke blitzt in der Nacht wie eine Disko-Kugel und die Klimaanlage viel zu schwach. Dann gibt es nicht mal einen Handtuch Ständer neben dem Waschbecken und die Stühle auf dem Balkon sind ultra unbequem. Ich denke das Hotel ist perfekt für Leute, die ihren letzten Flug nicht erwischt haben und eine ordentliche Unterkunft direkt beim Flughafen suchen und die der Fluglärm auch nicht stört. Über das Frühstück möchte ich gar nicht erst schreiben. Das ganze ist eigentlich schade, weil irgendjemand Geld investiert hat und nicht weiß wie man ein kleines Hotel einrichtet. Die blonde Dame am Check-in hat mir auch noch ernsthaft 10€ berechnet für ein Check-out um 12:00. Danach hatte ich gefragt und ihr Kollegin meinte "kein Problem!" Aber sagte nichts über Kosten. Die 10€ sind egal und ärgern mich gar nicht, aber es zeigt, dass da Leute arbeiten, denen das Weiterkommen des Hotels komplett egal ist. Und das ist schade.
