Very competent, helpful, and friendly staff. We had sent out backpacks from hiking ahead of us by taxi, and she found that taxi for us and had our supplies delivered to the hotel, all without us lifting a finger. The breakfast, even by Turkish standards, was deluxe

Great value for the price you pay. A small little pansiyon, very centrally located in Kalkan. Staff is super kind and helpful. The breakfast was also very tasty! We must mention however that it can get very noisy at night as the bars/clubs next door play music until late, and the walls and windows aren’t well insulated.

Charming traditional coastal boutique hotel with welcoming host. Amazing views from the rooftop available for guests’ use. Location is perfect… the little street it is on looks to the sea on one and mountain on the other side making a gorgeous scenery for breakfast or coffee/chai. Rooms are small but cozy, super clean, air-conditioned, balcony. Breakfast is complimentary and traditional Turkish. You are in the middle of all the happenings so expect some noise, people are here to have fun! Free parking but call the host in advance to explain it well to you, very close, a minute walk to hotel, but gps is confusing.

I had a wonderful 7-day stay at Old Kalamaki Pansiyon! Ideally situated in the heart of Kalkan, shops, restaurants, and the sea are at your doorstep--nothing is more than a 4 minute walk away! The front of the hotel sits on a quiet side street reached by a nicely decorated stairway--so no moped traffic! The alley serves as a courtyard with tables and is the perfect place for the wonderful Turkish breakfast they serve. In fact, this area is so picturesque that many tourists use it for photo shoots. The traditionally decorated rooms are compact, meticulously clean, with brand new bathroom fixtures and SOFT towels! My bath was an open concept "wet-room" so the shower was not enclosed, but if you're used to staying in boutique hotels this is nothing new. Most of the rooms are soundproofed, mine was not but I had no problem sleeping. Meltem, the owner/operator, was amazing! She arranged an airport pick-up, a fabulous boat trip, a truly impressive massage [with her own therapist], and recommended the best beach clubs. I usually like to make these arrangements myself, but Meltem is a Kalkan local and well-connected, so you can trust you are in good hands. If you prefer staying in traditional places owned and operated by locals, Old Kalamaki is a perfect choice. As a solo traveler, I met so many people at breakfast, or visiting in the "courtyard" after a full day out and about. I arrived a stranger and l left feeling like family--it was a truly authentic experience!

Excellent stay in a lovely family run hotel

We had an amazing stay in Kalkan this past week. The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and welcoming and we felt very comfortable. The location is ideal if you want to be in the middle of town and surrounded by ample cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The beach and harbour is also just 5 minutes away. We would definitely visit again and found it to be an ideal place to stay.

Servis, konum, çalışanlar (bir aile + 1 kadın), kahvaltı, yardımseverlik: 10/10 😊👍 Küçük bir dezavantaj, bazı banyolarda duş açık, banyo çok ıslak oluyor, ama hava siçakken zaten zemin çok hızlı kuruyor. Büyük problem değildi benim için. Fiyat performans oranı mükkemmel. Tekrardan yolum Kalkan'a düşerse, yine burada kalmayı düşünüyorum. ♥

Typical Turkish pansiyon - a little gem

Had a great 10 night stay. I know Kalkan, this being my third visit - and definitely won’t not my last. Arrived pretty late and was made immediately welcome. When shown to my room the air-con wasn’t working, but was fixed within minutes. That was so important for a comfortable stay as the Pansiyon is right in the old town - so the local bars and nightlife mean it can be a little noisy until around 2am. Recommend some ear plugs if you are are a light sleeper. The roof terrace was fabulous and I was pretty much the only person using it - which made this stay the bargain of the century. Lovely people; a good traditional Turkish breakfast if you want it - which I often didn’t but only because I had eaten so well the evening before! The room was basic but spotlessly clean; and the bed so comfortable - would give Lenny Henry a run for his Premier Inn money. Situated very close to the harbor and the rest of the old town this really is a gem. Am already planning my next visit.

Kalkan merkezde şehrin atmosferini yaşayabileceğimiz bir pansiyon arayışındaydık. Hem konumu, hem güleryüzlü ve misafirperver işletmecileri hem de Kalkan'ın havasını soluya soluya sokakta ettiğimiz sabah kahvaltıları bize beklediğimizden fazlasını verdi. Özellikle genç çiftler için ideal bir konaklama adresi, hem liman hem restaurantlar ve eğlence mekanları yürüyüş mesafesinde. Odalar küçük ancak yetiyor, çok temizdi. Ben normalde otellerde temizlik konusunda çok hassas yaklaşırım ancak özellikle banyo pırıl pırıl teslim edilmişti. Otel sahipleri Yeşim Hanım ve İhsan Bey gerek yardımseverlikleri, gerek nokta atışı önerileri ile seyahatimizi daha keyifli kıldılar. Daha otele gelmeden transfer konusunda bile onların yardımlarını aldık. Kesinlikle tekrar Kalkan'a gitsem buradan başka bir yerde kalmayı asla düşünmem.
