Our room was very clean and well maintained. Other areas of the hotel was also neat and organized. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The shuttle service is simple but very helpful being in a quiet area in a small prefecture.

They were able to accommodate a last minute booking. Rooms were large for Japanese standard and the free breakfast was better than some we've paid for (eggs, ham, curry, soup, drinks). Would stay here again.

Ideal stop over location

We only stayed one night here on our way back to Tokyo. The staff were very polite and helpful, the rooms was very clean with good amenities and the breakfast was fine.

Staff were all lovely, and very willing to help. They understood English very well and we're able to communicate to a good standard. The hotel is a brief walk from the Karuizawa train station, so it is in a desirable location for weary travellers. The room and bedding are comfortable, and an average size. The only negative I have is the use of keys for your room door. An upgrade to key cards would be something to consider for the future, and may also stop the need for handing in your key each time you exit the building (which I'm guessing is because of the key cutting service close by?)

my booking is 2 nights for 3 guests. Upon arrival, there are 3 bottles of water for 3 guests. I have asked to supply another 3 bottles of water but the Manager said water supply is only for 1st day of booking, no more for how long we lived. I have stayed other hotels worldwide, they have supplied new bottles of water every day.
