The man on day reception was very kind and helpful. He got us a taxi for Ani ruins and Lake Cilders for a very good fair price. He had great suggestions for local dining. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel is dated but clean and functional and has a great lift

Loved the friendly staff. We were offered help to do our laundry at the hotel. They served tea and coffee to guests who hang out in the lobby. Location is also good. Very central. We also enjoyed the bteakfast and the person who served breakfast.very professional. Thanks to everyone at Konak hotel!

The bathroom was leaking and wet when we arrived. No alternative room was available for the first night and no discount was offered in lieu. The rooms did not have curtains that kept the light out, despite the fact that the sun rises at 4:30am in summer and that the hotel is on a busy street with street lights and cars loudly passing through the night. For a hotel that charges 75EUR per night, a much higher standard should be basic.

I arrived at this property after midnight. Check in process was fine. My room was on the 6th floor.. a lot of stairs to climb, and the elevator is tiny! The place smelt of cigarettes, and the Wi-Fi did not work at all. Breakfast okay, simple but fine. Convenient for a stop-over for one night.

Shabby, can´t recommend

In our long stay in Turkey this was the worst hotel: broken furniture, torn towels and bed linen, got stuck in the lift, lift could only take 1 person at a time, fridge kept awful noise, no air-con in the room. I dont understand the grade 8+ here nor that LonelyPlanet mentions the hotel. Breakfast was usual Turkish affair. Staff was nice despite language barrier.

Good value

On the Main Street with plenty of retail outlets. There is even a large Migros ( think Tesco / Walmart ) further down the street, same side and to your right exiting the hotel. Check in was painless, the room was spotless. No AC nor van but the window opens. You need to plug the fridge into the power yourself. I find this in a number of hotels now….cost of energy etc. Shower was powerful & hot. Breakfast was simple but filling Turkish buffet style although I missed the normal honey and fruit juice. There’s a spectacular looking new mosque outside the window but strangely I did not hear a call to prayer. Good value.

Odada çöp kovası yoktu. Banyoya minik bir çöp kutusu konmuştu. Klima yoktu. Bütün gece Ağustos sonu olmasına rağmen sıcaktan kivrandik. En azından bir hareketli masa üstü ventilator bile ise yarardı. Kapı iki kilit çevirmeden sonra kitleniyordu. Kahvaltı fena değildi. Personel arkadaşlar ilgiliydi. Ama orası da klimasız olduğu için ter içinde acele bir şekilde kahvaltı yaptık. Otopark var yazıyor ama otopark yok.

Şehir merkezinde olması çok iyi. Bir çok yere yürüyerek ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Park yeri sorunu yok. Tam karşısında uygun bir otopark mevcut. Resepsiyonda çalışanlar oldukça kibar ve yardımsever. Kendilerine teşekkür ederiz.

Un buon soggiorno a Kars

Struttura in zona comoda e centrale. Camera un po' datata, ma pulita, purtroppo esposta ad Est e quindi fa giorno alle 5 di mattina quando magari un'ora prima si è stati svegliati dal muezzin della moschea che sta proprio lì davanti. Letto abbastanza comodo. Buona (e solita) colazione turca. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Oda standart eşya fazla

Eşimle beraber konakladık 2 gece 3 gün. 2 kişilik oda için 1 adet çift kişilik yatak 2 adet tek kişilik yatak vardı eşyalarımızı dolaba yerleştirmek için yatağı itmek zorunda kaldık, yalnızca uyumak için değil oda da vakit geçireyim derseniz pek mümkün değil. Çıkış yaparken bu durumlardan bahsettiğimde ise anlayışla dinlediler. Bir de tuvaletten aşırı derece de gider kokusu geliyor ve sular kokuyordu diş fırçalarken temiz su kullanın lütfen. Belki şebeke suyu olduğu için öyledir biraz ağır ve kokulu geldi su. Bundan da bahsetmiştik. Kahvaltı peynir zeytin domates salata yumurta bir çeşit hamur içi vardı, aç kalmazsınız ama vav da doymazsınız. Fiyat performans kahvaltısı standart. Çalışanların hepsi güler yüzlü, ilgili tekrardan teşekkür ederim. * Kaldığımız oda 4 kişi için içinde yatak sayısına göre ancak adım atacak mesafe yoktu maalesef :/

biz otelde 1 gece konakladık. Genel olarak memnun aldık. Resepsiyonda olan beyefendi bize her konuda yardımcı oldu ve çok misafirperver bir tutum sergiledi. Kahvaltı ve servis iyiydi. Sadece banyolar biraz eskiydi. Onu dışında memnun kaldığımız bir konaklama oldu.

Kaldığımız ilk gecenin sabahında elektrikler kesildi, sular kesildi, asansör çalışmadı. Otel çalışanları müşterilerin acil ihtiyaçlarını karşılama adına hiç bir şey yapmadı. Tuvalet ihtiyacı için karşıdaki caminin tuvaletine gittik.
