The room was not clean. Broken glass, spider webs, only two hand towels, The bedding was not fresh. No extra toilet paper, no tissues. It's hard to say it was a terrible stay because of the location. The island is so beautiful and the hotel looks good on the outside, just have low expectations for inside. After we cleaned the room and purchased our own bedding, got supplies, the rest of our trip was amazing!!

Second floor was unobstructed view and we could sit out on our balcony all day! We even saw whales spouting on our last morning there!

The office staff was very welcoming. The hotel is close to several good restaurants and an ABC Store — all within walking distance. Plenty of shade near the beach.

The room was DISGUSTING!!! The air conditioning did not work at all, they offered to fix it during our stay but we would have to be out of the room for 4+ hours and at the time we were in the middle of showering and changing and no other time was offered because their air conditioning guy was leaving town that day! The refrigerator was broken and we were given a nasty cooler to fill with ice to keep anything refrigerated that we bought. There was hair leftover in the shower from the guests before us so it leads me to believe that they don’t clean the showers between guests. The beds, sheets and pillows had mystery stains on it and we ended up buying new sheets after the first night because we were so grossed out! We also bought Clorox wipes to wipe down the bedside table and chairs and all the wipes turned brown after we did that. The hotel is a good price so i understand not being the fanciest, but it was just straight up nasty! It smelled and we ended up buying room spray to try it make the stay more bearable. They had bikes available to check out but they all seemed to be on their last leg and the bike I rode broke about a mile down the trail and I had to walk it back. I would not recommend this place at all!!

We stayed 8 nights at Coral Reef. It was awesome. On the beach, pool with waterfall. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Very quiet place. No parking fees or resort fees. We could get bikes to ride the great beach path. We also got beach towels, chairs and umbrellas at no extra charge. Super close to shops and food choices. Breakfast place attached was great too. Would definitely recommend. Location was great to get around island.

Perfection! AC was awesome,view was amazing, SO close to the ocean. Wonderful staff ~ so kind! Not fancy, but absolutely wonderful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Room was clean and the ocean view was excellent! Wi-Fi worked fine. The extra free amenities were very nice like the bike rentals, mini-cooler, ice, and nice thick beach towels. Swimming pool was very nice with a decorative waterfall. Across the bike bath was a small sand beach but nice. A homeless couple were living in some bushes and trees across from the hotel but were hidden from view. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again .

Air conditioners worked in both living and bedroom areas. Room was very clean except for some funk in the ceiling over the shower. View right on the beach is amazing. Staff was born again and she will yell you all about it.

Room was overlooking the beach with a fantastic view of the ocean. Hotel is within walking distance or biking distance of hotel.they offer free bikes.Staff is Texas friendly and have great banana bread in the lobby.

Overall very pleasant stay. If you are looking for a beautiful location and view this is the place! Waking up to the view every morning was stunning. Location was great and walkable. Close proximity to drive and explore many sites…..keep in mind this hotel is dated. Old tv, ok beds, no frills. Our room was “cleaned” and ready upon arrival but there was hair on our sheets and pillows, toothpaste and hair in sink, mirrors spotted and smeared, not vacuumed and sticky residue on remotes and tv boxes. Someone came a changed our sheets, but I bought Clorox wipes and wiped everything down myself. The front desk people are so pleasant and helpful, so I would just suggest checking your room condition upon arrival, could have been a one time experience as we read other reviews.
