Old, old, old and needs a good cleaning. No edible snacks during "happy hour", just very old popcorn, etc. bugs in the bathroom. It was a bit creepy, no body around. Breakfast was ok , and other than the strawberries, the other fruit was very old. The food in the steam table was stone cold, and also old. Time to just shut the doors and walk away. We paid $150, but advertised rate was between $132 and $88.

This place is the creepiest place I’ve ever stayed at. not safe, big huge fight in the lobby, every single night there were kids running around screaming lots of people being loud and lots of holes in carpet and I have tripped over it plenty of times. Construction starting at 6:30 in the morning chopping cement building shook and was very noisy. Tried to get a refund.

The property is self was close to the street car but the street car was down they didn’t tell you parking wasn’t free till check in coast 75.00 for 3 days then the street car isn’t working for we spend over 100.00 just on parking outside the hotel …. They had to many people there couldn’t use the pool they don’t even give u a key to get in to it you have to ask…. had to wait n line for breakfast for 25 mins food was cold and gross! The breakfast attendants rush you and are mad that your there .. the elevators were broken it’s like only 1 works and it only holds 5 people there was 12 people on the small elevators at one time. They had some crochet fair going on which is fine. The whole second floor was rented out to them so they were constantly on the elevator going from second floor to first floor, but there are no stairs to get to the rooms so you’re waiting 3040 minutes for an elevator. Best bet don’t go here unless you have unlimited money and patience and time

The staff is awesome from front desk to the bartender to maintenance and finally houskeeping . They could chat with any guest and you felt like they knew you even the night crew. The cleanliness i would just see guest piling plates outside of rooms that would sit for a bit. Seems run down 1 elevator was broke whole stay , no hot water one day, duck tape on carpet , and some of the windows on roof by pool were boarded up with wood . Word around the hotel from other guest were they were turning into a parking lot which would make sense on why they let some things go cause not wanting to put up money for repairs and constuction outside was annoying to relax . For the hotel i feel i could have stayed at a place for way cheaper . But for the staff if they do turn this place to a parking lot i wish them the best for trying anywhere would be great to have them

This property has aged, it is in a good location for St. Luke’s Hospital and is fine for a quick overnight stay if you need a suite at a low price. We were there on vacation and frankly it was very disappointing. If you are there on the weekend - packed, get up early to get downstairs or you will be waiting a while for an elevator.

An older glorious hotel that has forgotten most of its glory. Needs updating in most areas. If the staff were cheerful and kind, that would help. Instead, they all seem to be doing their job but hating it.
