「Read some negative comments from various hotels booking website, have struggled to book it or not, but there are not really many hotels / ryokans in Onomichi. Anyway, the reality is, starting from the check in till check out, we are very satisfied and amazed. We need to give it a fair comment to support the staff there. 「 Very nice equipped and clean room. Some little considerate things, like umbrella, was very helpful. I also liked they chose wooden floor. Felt much cleaner than carpet ones. Close to the center of Onomichi, so it was easy to find places to eat or shop. The communication with staffs was smooth, and the check-in instructions were pretty clear. • Kitchen area was small, but I didn't cook during my stay so cannot really comment it.」

「When is a resort not a resort? In this case, when it doesn't provide any facilities outside the room. There's a rooftop bar in summer but nothing at other times. Staff were pleasant but breakfast was limited and when we asked for a second cup of coffee we had to pay for it. The room is large but was taken up by 4 double futons and a massive hanging screen for projecting TV/video. We felt it was intended for a large group who wanted to watch DVDs all day. The cost would have been fine split 8...
