We stayed at the Waldhotel for two nights where we enjoyed hiking and the amazing scenic views of the Alps. Hotel had breathtaking views of the Alps. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and updated. We did have a challenge figuring out all of the electronics to get the lights on and shades closed.

Lovely stay at this beautiful hotel! Amazing food and the Spa is perfect for relaxing and enjoying life! Our breakfast each morning was in front of a large picture window overlooking the mountains. Everyone one was so nice and friendly! Will be coming back !

This is a beautiful resort nestled in the Swiss mountains. Stunning views, amazing dining and one of the best spa’s we have ever visited. Kandersteg is quiet but you dont need to leave the hotel. Every need was catered for and we left truly relaxed. Will definitely return in the future!

Restaurant and breakfast service not good at all, for the cost of the meals and the hotel. Items missing, had to ask for almost everything, missing meals on the aer service. Otherwise room good, Spa excellent and surroundings amazing.

Solo traveller - I did I feel I was ushered through / less prioritised as a solid traveller seaport having payed a lot. Breakfast I was placed on busy isle / less nice spaces so actually had to request last day to move as it wasn’t okay. Bar staff friendly. Clean and good spa areas.

There is no AC and there are no fans available. Leaving windows open helps with heat in room But then you aren’t able to block sunlight. Beautiful location and hotel. Lacks AC.

Far exceeded expectations

The pictures do not do the place justice. Top level. Pool is warm, customer service goes above and beyond as the norm. Got in a bit of trouble for playing piano at 11pm but don't blame them as I'm no concert pianist. Wish I'd have booked the place for a week. Thanks for having me.
