「Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. 「Overall，it was a terrible experience. We stayed there for just one night this time. When arriving with my friends at the hotel, a girl asked us to sit down at the lobby and wait for checking in. 「Sad case of lovely hotel falling into decay after Covid. We four were only guests for our two day stay. Staff could not do enough but could not find booking, pool very neglected and rooms although enormous could do with a large amount of tender loving care. One I hope succeeds in the future.」

「Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens...
