"Amazing location, peaceful views, cool design. Rooms are tired, time to renew them. The staff is super friendly, but some rules make the service are a bit inconvenient (like three restaurants, all of them opening at 7pm! Open one at 5pm, for families, since there are three of them!)"

"Everything is perfect thanks"

"Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more...

"Aara Wild near Sigiriya was the highlight of our whole Sri Lanka trip. From arrival, the warmth of the welcome set the tone – every member of staff, from housekeeping to guides to the kitchen team, was genuinely, unfailingly lovely. "Sad case of lovely hotel falling into decay after Covid. We four were only guests for our two day stay. Staff could not do enough but could not find booking, pool very neglected and rooms although enormous could do with a large amount of tender loving care. One I hope succeeds in the future."

"A singular property, this is a resort with a sustainable difference. We loved the open design of our suite, the expansive land and water elements, and wonderful service. Our butler, Yasori (sp) was so helpful, professional and kind. We look forward to returning again to this place of coexistence with the natural world. Thank you."
