Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort offers a serene escape with stunning views of Lake Victoria. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, providing a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and attentive, though service can be slow during busy times. The food was excellent although, as above, the service could be improved.

I attended a conference here for 5 days. It was very comfortable and well set up for this purpose. The grounds are beautiful and you can see Lake Victoria. The staff is pleasant and every need was cared for. Aisha in particular at the front desk was helpful as I had to check out before my conference duties were finished. I would definitely come back!

The stay at Munyonyo was good but the Hotel.com confirmation email stated that the total price paid included Airport Transfer including other facilities but the resort denied that and said it was not included thus costing me extra $30 for the Taxi. I think the confirmation was misleading.

This was by far the best stay of our trip! The hotel and grounds were beautiful, as was the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed very comfortable, the food was fantastic, and the location on Lake Victoria couldn't be beat. It is located about 30 minutes from Entebbe Int. Airport, which was convenient, but we felt like we were miles away from any city. I couldn't recommend this hotel more.

Munyonyo resort experience

The staff were very friendly and respectful. The rooms were clean and had a very good view of the lake I loved their al acarte menu, especially the fish dishes. Would visit again.

Confortable mais un service déplorable

On est très loin d’un standard cinq étoiles international. La chambre est confortable est propre mais la qualite de service est loin d’être à la hauteur. Le personnel doit être mieux formé et le middle management mieux encadrer et cesser son approche coloniale. Quant à l’impolitesse de ce middle management, passons...Service absolument pas client oriented.

Best Hotel in Uganda

Everything here is amazing! We loved our stay -- the rooms are supremely comfortable, the grounds are beautiful and the staff are all really nice and helpful. We heard that when foreign presidents come to Uganda, they stay here and we can understand why. There's a lot to do, the food is great and the area is gorgeous. If you're lucky, you'll even see a family of monkeys passing through.

Perfect hotel, except for the Internet.

This hotel was perfect in every sense of the word, except for the Internet service, which was pretty much non-existent for the majority of my stay. If it weren't for that, my experience would've have been very positive. Hopefully, they'll resolve it the next time I'm there.
