On a solo visit this time, I preferred a hotel over a villa, and booked a deluxe room at the Elixir. There are lots of choices in gorgeous Kalkan, but I made a very good decision. "Ahmet and Kate were very hospitable. The hotel was quiet and well located in a gorgeous street. Pool area was good. Rooms were adequate - clean but on the small side and shower rooms tiny. Breakfast could have been improved with more fruit options ( very reasonably priced at local greengrocers) and oats. We enjoyed our stay and wld return. "

"Friendly staff, Great location, lovely diverse spread Turkish breakfast, Amazing pool area overlooking the harbour, comfortable stay! Rooms are well equipped, had to climb many stairs to get to ours but was great to walk off all the good food we had been eating all holiday. Big tourist destination for Brits. Clubs close by make a bit of noise at night but we were able to easily fall asleep anyways. Loved our stay and can’t wait to return!"

"What a great little hotel and right in the heart of the old town. easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants all right on the doorstep. The staff were fabulous, warm and welcoming, always very helpful. The Turkish breakfast was brilliant too, lots of variety brought to your table. Don't expect a full English and why would you. Go for the healthy option of olives, several different breads, eggs, fresh tomatoes and cucumber and at least 4 different jams and honeys. Room service was always available. We're going back as soon as we can."
