「Our family of 6 stayed in this very lovely, clean villa in Kalathas, Crete, which is a wonderful location. The beach near the Villa is beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas (you have to pay for them)! We did drive to the beach which is about 1 mile away. I accidentally booked for the day we left, rather than the day we came (we only needed a one night accommodation until our Airbnb was ready).
