「This was a stunning end to my stay in Sri Lanka. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and general manager was around and introduced himself during breakfast. Cocktails and food was great. Breakfast was excellent. So many choices and nothing too much trouble. I can see it may be an issue in high season, but in October there was enough sunloungers at the pool and beach for everyone. 「We absolutely loved our stay at Galle Fort Hotel. It was a beautiful property in the middle of the fort town which had lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel itself was unbelievably beautiful and felt very luxurious. The staff were so attentive and kind. The breakfast was my favorite I’ve ever had at a hotel! Beautiful fruit and delicious cooked food. Cannot recommend enough! We will be back. 」

Rooms are large with a desk and sitting area. Bathroom beautiful with claw foot bath, spacious shower area. Pool area is lovely for a quick dip. Staff go above and beyond. 「We stayed here for a night & checked out early in the next day for whale watching. Breakfast for taken away was only biscuit and 2 bananas. Location is good and near to beach. Room was comfortable with hot shower. Hotel staffs were nice but poor communication between them. We called the hotel the day before we check-in and asked for an extra room for our driver, the staff told us we could pay a bit more and would arrange it for us.
