"The place is situated close by all the relevant beaches, especially Hiriketiya and Nilwella beach. It is about 10-15 minutes to get to hiriketiya road where most of the shops/resturants are. "Fabulous place!! The people here are so helpful and friendly! Well, it is Sri Lanka after all!! What a gem this hotel is, the spa treatments are fab and even though we didn't pay for meals to be included we have eaten most of our meals here, lovely!! Would definitely stay again. rooms are clean and spacious and the staff will supply you with anything you should need. Fab!!!"

"Our stay at Ivory Resort was fantastic. The room was comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed. The hotel sits on a beautiful stretch of beach and the pool area was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was the best we have had in Sri Lanka with fresh ingredients and great choice. The staff were outstanding and incredibly welcoming. They helped with anything we needed and helped arrange our laundry. A special thank you to Kavindra for the warm hospitality and helpful local tips. We also had lunch at the hotel and the food was exceptional. The fried sea bass and prawn curry were cooked to perfection. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend staying here. They also kindly allowed us a late check out which we really appreciated. "

What truly set the hotel apart, though, was the staff—every member of the team was warm, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. "I loved everything about this place- quiet, a short pleasant walk to town center, incredible breakfast and cafe vibes (and music!), electricity was better here than in other places I've stayed, AC worked well, nice patio, big bed and bathroom. As a solo female traveler I felt safe. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, arrange rides, etc. BOHOMA STUTHI!!!"
