「We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...

「The guesthouse provided an excellent stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed, complete with high-quality amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night. The small kitchen and well-stocked minibar added a convenient touch to the stay. 「We had a fantastic view over Mbombela from our rooms (executive double). Large and well equipped rooms. Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Orange Restaurant on the premises is great, at reasonable prices. We are from Europe and visit Kruger National Park regularly. Loerie's is our preferred stop from or to O.R. Tampo airport in Johannesburg.」

「Manager and all staff very welcoming and friendly, made our stay very enjoyable. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Outside yards very pretty and really thankful the manager for taking us up to the top of the rock for a magnificent voew.」

「Only stayed one night and enjoyed it thoroughly. They accommodated a last-minute request for dinner, which was very tasty and delivered to my room. Breakfast was very good as well. The staff was very friendly and responsive, and they have a very sweet dog (Mango) whose visits made the stay even more 」
