Great little place. The hosts are super nice and accommodating. Our boys had great time in the pool and in their bedroom which was up the ladder. Breakfast was delicious!

Fantastic property with wonderful hosts

Francine & Jean Claude are wonderful hosts. The breakfast is fantastic, home made yogurts and jam, warm apple pie a selection of ham & cheese & croissants. Just delicious Their property is beautiful and in the countryside just 20 mins to Pairi Daiza. We had the most wonderful stay in Les Peupliers and will return when we come back to Pairi Daiza.

A countryside chill-out gem!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Peupliers, which is a lovingly renovated and genuinely charming countryside home in the Jurbise area. Our room ("Manon") was cosy and clean with a very modern bathroom and the garden and pool is worthy of a 5-star resort. Jean-Claude and Francine were kind and engaged hosts, who were both very friendly and communicative, and provided us with a range of extremely useful tips for activities and eating places in the area. The breakfast on offer was very tasty, with high-quality homemade and local products on the table. We highly recommend Les Peupliers to families looking for cosy and comfortable stay in Wallonia, and would love to return next time we will be in this region.

Lovely property but not as advertised

This is a lovely property with a beautiful setting and a great breakfast with home made products. However, there are a lot of things that we were told are forbidden. One in particular, which is repeated continuously is that eating is forbidden. The owners are quite insistent about guests needing to book a local restaurant (several km away) as its not possible to eat on the premises and food in the rooms is strictly forbidden. There is no tea or coffee provided in the rooms and the information about a microwave, fridge, espresso machine and luggage service is incorrect on hotels.com. There is a beautiful garden with a swimming pool. Opening times are not advertised and we were told refrain from making a splash. Its not possible to use the sauna or hot tub. The pool is covered as soon as you get out and is closed in the mornings. We requested breakfast at 9.30am and were told it was the limit because there wouldn't be time to get cleared up and check out at 11am. Payment by card is not possible so we had to be driven to an atm to get cash. This interrupted the owners tennis lesson so was dealt with by her husband. As guests we felt we were being micro managed which did not make for a relaxing stay.

Les Peupliers in Jurbise is een bijzonder huiselijk B&B met ontzettend lieve eigenaren. We waren blij verrast over het ontvangst, het ontbijt, de netheid van de kamer inclusief badkamer en in het bijzonder de betrokkenheid van de eigenaren. Ik zou zo weer teruggaan.

Heel gastvrij ontvangen. Mooie landelijke locatie. Nette ruime kamer met badkamer. Buiten een sauna die in overleg gereed gemaakt kan worden. Zwembad was het nu te koud voor. Uitgebreid ontbijt met overheerlijke zelfgemaakte yoghurt. Alles netjes schoon. Prima verblijf gehad. Pairi Daiza op 10 km afstand. Supermarkt op 3 km afstand. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

We hebben heerlijk genoten.Hele aardige mensen, mooie kamer en heerlijk ontbijt. 1klein minpuntje maar dat is erg persoonlijk, Ik heb liever een douchecabine dan douchen in een bad vind dat altijd een beetje eng( ben ooit eens uitgegleden ) Maar het was super schoon. We hebben heerlijk geslapen goed bed. Ook een ruimte waar je kon chillen , lagen leuke boeken en veel speelgoed voor eventuele kinderen. Zwembad geen gebruik van gemaakt maar lag er goed bij.

Retraite calme à la campagne

Accueillis par un très serviable couple de retraités belges, nous avons été reçus dans la chambre 4 couchages avec une déco soignée, une literie de qualité. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité, variant sucré et salé pour toutes les envies. À un quart d'heure du parc Pairi Daiza, c'est une bonne halte. Les propriétaires sont de bons conseils pour les restaurants environnants et les sandwicheries. Bienveillants, ils ont réservé pour nous les dîners en appelant les restaurateurs. Belle adresse.

We hadden Pairi Daiza bezocht en waren sneller klaar dan gepland. Dus kwamen we eigenlijk een beetje te vroeg aan bij Les Peupliers. Maar de eigenaar verwelkomde ons hartelijk en we mochten de kamer toch reeds bemannen na een kopje koffie.. Het verblijf straalt iets uit van verfijnde inrichting …dit is een van de betere b&b's die we ooit bezochten. Na een zalige nachtrust was er dan nog een uiterst verzorgd ontbijt en babbel met de eigenaars. Betalen was nog nooit zo plezierig.

Helt utroligt sted - kommer helt klart igen.

Sikke et fint sted med de sødeste værter :) Dejlige værelser og fint bad. God morgenmad, med hjemmelavet produkter. Meget hjælpsomme og virkelige opmærkesomme på at vi havde et godt ophold. Vi kommer bestemt igen når vi skal på de kanter igen :)

Excellente nuit passée dans ce havre de paix! Hôtes très à l écoute de nos besoins. Petit déjeuner très copieux avec d excellents produits locaux. On recommande ce logement qui est tout proche de Pairi Daiza.
