The lodge was perfect for my motorcycle trip to Julian. Perfect place to wind down after a long day of riding in the area. If you are not a social person it might not be the place for you, because all common areas are to be shared. (Living room, kitchen, deck). But if you are passing through and wand a place with incredible views, peace, quiet and good coffee in the morning, this place is great. Hickers, Moto Riders, Cyclists. Feels like the right vibe.

Beautiful location and clean. But! Not a peaceful place for couples or adults. When we stayed there, there were just two other rooms rented- one with a family of 7 and one with 6 college students sharing a room. Super loud common area directly outside room, kids running laps, banging on floors above us, very little privacy or calm. Property owners post guest’s full names for all to see which also seems like a safety issue. Great if you love chaos.

The view is very impressive and lodge itself is cozy with large kitchen with some necessities for breakfast. The reason for I gave 3 stars is the mattress was awful. Soggy and old and really soft. Also the shower is unusable. Old shower head that sprinkles the water all over, but doesn't give a stream. So washing was a nightmare. Also the quality of shampoo and conditioner was really not good

This is a very clean and peaceful lodge. It has lots of amenities like spices, cookware, ice machine and large gathering areas. The balcony and patio area is fantastic for sitting outside enjoying the view and sounds of nature.
