After showing my confirmation email and credit card charge the front desk called the owner who said she was far away and there was nothing she could do since the unit was occupied already. After leaving embarrassed as other customers waited I found accommodation elsewhere. 45 minutes later I received a call asking me to return there was a mistake at the front desk and my reservations are found. "Beautiful hotel complex. The pictures don't do it justice in terms of how spacious and well designed/ kept the property is. The beach is a fairly decent walk from the hotel- about 10minutes. It's a nice walk but something to know if you think it's going to be on your doorstep. Lots of beautiful restaurants. Pools were great, esp with young kids as there were shallow areas in all 3 of the pools. Lovely breakfast. The chief concierge was really helpful and accommodating with our requests, eg for late check out. The beach is lovely- clean and relaxed. Lovely palm trees, lots of loungers and space to sit. The horse riding complex was an extra bonus- we took our 3yr old for a ride which he loved. Watch out for the new suites if you're getting an apartment- they don't have a kitchen in them (despite being very large and decked out in high end decor and fittings). They are really nicely done but missing a few helpful amenities (e.g. washer/dryer, sink in the dining area where you'd expect the kitchenette to be). The older apartment suites have much better amenities although are a bit less fancy and newly decorated."

We definitely will keep coming to this resort and recommend to our friends to do so.Resort is very clean, staff friendly and run above and beyond,food is tasty and varied, everything is within walking distance.We can't wait to return to this lovely place"

"Apartment is right on the Beach. You also have options to eat in other restaurants around and enjoy the water. Staff very friendly. They helped us with the taxis and were able to help us with any concern we had. Safe area, taxis and Uber accesibles. Uber driver asked for extra Money, make sure you agree before. Uber and taxis prices are higher than the city. Renting a car could be another option. You can call the bodega for Groceries delivery. 5 minutes driving from the restaurants. I recommend Nicos’ and Vida in Guayacanes. Great stay!!! Will come back. "
