「The problem was that this isn't a hotel, it is a bed and breakfast with a couple of bedrooms. When I arrived just after 3pm there was nobody there. The owner (who was a pleasant man) normally did not accept arrivals until 4pm. Also, it is located on the oldest street in town, a very, very steep heavily cobbled street only accessible on foot. It us very pretty but difficult to access with luggage. Having said that it is very pretty and my room was quaint but good.」

「Very warm welcome upon arrival. We were escorted to our room with two liters of filtered water, and shown how to operate the room temperature control and TV (this was a first in all my years of travel!). Hotel was quiet, room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options to please many tastes. Thank you for a welcoming and restful stay!」

「War supernett für eine Nacht. Mein Standardzimmer hatte ein 1,50m breites Bett, für eine Person toll, für 2 (war ein Doppelzimmer) spektakulär klein. Das Bad war winzig, aber mit allem ausgestattet. Es gibt große Zimmer mit großem Bett und großem Bad - aber in anderer Kategorie. Frühstück war sehr sehr gut, mit allem, was der kleine und der große Frühstücker braucht. Schöner Frühstücksraum. Sauber, bequeme Matratze, freundlich. Kuscheliger Gesellschaftsraum. Parken kostenlos auf der Straße vorm...

「We had a wonderful time at the hôtel. The staff was great especially the manager, Cosmo. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed; even going so far as to ensure no one took our parking space after a day of touring. We would definitely recommend. Many restaurants and shops were within walking distance. Opening/closing hours were hard to manage. 」
