I stayed at Hotel Maremonti for 10 days. I left refreshed and full of energy.
For me, the hotel felt more like staying in a small Italian villa than in a traditional hotel, surrounded by a beautiful shady garden. My room was spotlessly clean, and the whole place was quiet and comfortable. I travelled alone and felt very safe throughout my stay.
What touched me most was the warm hospitality and kindness of the hosts and staff. I arrived during the day without realising that the nearby restaurant mainly opens in the evening. They gave me a bottle of cold water and, later that day, kindly drove me uphill to the local shop. On my departure day, they also kindly drove me uphill to the station. These thoughtful gestures meant a great deal to me.
Nearby swimming spots in the sea are near the Torre to the left of the entrance, or at the end of the road to the right.
I warmly recommend Hotel Maremonti to anyone looking for peace, genuine hospitality and a stay surrounded by a beautiful garden on the Calabrian coast. I already miss this special place.
