"Les Galapons was so much more than we expected. In the middle of the countryside. If you want complete silence, a reset on life in the city, this is the place to go. Sandrine and Sebastian are the perfect hosts. Food was extremely tasty, local wine was some of the best we have had and the room was delightfully decorated and spotless. "

"The room itself was tiny, nicely furnished and extreme warm. No aircon / fan/ heater there. Bathroom was clean. If u don't need a kitchen or fridge it's not recommendable for the price. "Armand (owner) was very helpful, even though I was only there for a very short time. He allowed me a flexible check in and was very friendly. He brought breakfast to my room in the morning. I didn't really explore the area but I know Lyon fairly well. It was a 20 minute walk to Part-Dieu Station but of course you could get a direct bus or tram easily. A taxi cost me £13 from Part Dieu to the property. It is exactly as described."
