We stayed one night at this property. The apartment was great, easy to get to by walking from the JB checkpoint, spacious, and clean. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that because we booked day of, we did not receive the email arranging check-in before leaving. When we arrived, it was very confusing to figure out where to go. There is no central front desk, and the address we had was to the building where the office was housed, but not to the office itself. Luckily I had roaming data and was able to WhatsApp the staff. They were very helpful and met us quickly to help us get situated. Other than that, it was an excellent experience.

Property is nice, convenient with some shops and eateries just downstairs. Food selection within walking distance of the area is so-so, not many varieties. The R&F Mall itself is rather quiet, but there are a few pretty good massage shops upstairs that are very reasonably priced. The 3bedroom unit we stayed in is clean, and the view was nice. It was abit noisy in one of the bedrooms facing the busy road leading to the checkpoint. The condo has great amenities.

Yeah it’s a bit on the pricier side but it’s the cleanest property I’ve stayed in JB ever and I’ve tried a couple of other hosts just in R&F cove as well. Super good experience with these guys.

Stayed with SaffronCasa for multiple times at R&F. The apartment's location is near the customs and shopping malls nearby. There are some shops and eateries just below the apartment. Generally convenient since we are taking grab to our usual spots. Condition of the apartment getting slightly poor, hopefully maintenance can be improved. Overall, good stay and likely to revisit if the price is still affordable.

Great place for families

Very good especially for the price paid. The bed was very very firm and not to my liking. Hence the 3 star comfort rating; everything else was great. You are renting an apartment in a large building so many residents as well as some visitors. The facilities were nice and not really populated. Being Australian we spend a lot of time outside and swimming so the kids love the kids rooms, playground and pools and we had everything to ourselves. I don’t think Malaysians have a strong swim culture as the guards at all the hotels we stayed at (not only this one) were very concerned about the children and asked that they wore swim vests, my 6 year old is a strong swimmer and my one year old is learning that if he falls into the deeper water he sinks, I do pluck him out quickly when he does fall in. The swim vests don’t teach them anything in my philosophy it’s better that they experience sinking and their own limitations. It’s just something to consider I suppose as we were a bit surprised at how actively the staff cared for the children’s safety around the water, maybe being a swim vest if you plan to swim with small children. It was nice that they had such concern. Check in and out you’ll need to arrange with the staff, it’s easy and they are very responsive. Just make sure that you follow the location instructions exactly. Screen shot the information incase like me you lose internet connection and can’t use WhatsApp or check your emails when you arrive also have a phone.

We're very satisfied with the apartment! It's new and well-maintained. Very clean and safe. It's within a short and easy 15-min walk from the JB Customs and sheltered all the way. A breeze to check-in and out! The only improvement which we hope to see is the provision of hand towel in the bathrooms and kitchen. Other than this, all thumbs up for a spacious and comfortable stay for us.

Pleasant and comfortable.

Overall very pleasant. Rooms were spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable. Towels provided. Very convenient with supermarket and restaurants and simple shopping downstairs. The air con remotes were low batt and could not display the temperature and mode, so we could not control the temperature.. it was very cold. There was a lot of car horn sounds from roads too.

Not very accommodating when comes to request..

My children and I had more than 20hrs flight from the US to attend my niece's wedding. I had requested for an early check-in through emails and phone call and was disappointed with the lack of understanding from the property management. I had an early arrival and a late departure. I requested for an early check-in around 12 and a late check-out around 3 but they refused to work with me. I sent an email and made a phone call ahead for the request, hoping they would accommodate my request. But, they refused to accommodate. There's reasons why people make a special due to there is no where for them to go between arrival time of their flight and the check-in time. So, I hope the property management would put all the request into consideration and be a litte more accommodating.

C’est dommage !!! L’appartement est très bien, spacieux (75m2) et sympa. Beaucoup de règles avec amendes à la clé ce qui paradoxale car après avoir enlevé les chaussures avant d’entré, j’ai marché dans l’appartement en chaussettes et au bout de 10 minutes, elles étaient carrément noires. Le ménage est inexistant. La literie est bonne. Le Check-in se fait de 14h00 à 18h00 et pour ceux qui arrivent plus tard, il’ faut payer un supplément surtout que la personne qui vous rejoint pour le Check in habite dans le même immeuble.

Enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and rather spacious. However it took some time for contact person to reply, which delayed check in and out. Would still come back again.
