The room is so old , the carpet is dirty , but the most uncomfortable is the dirty of the bed sheet !! It make my skin very itch, and there is some hair inside the bed sheet, maybe they forget to change 😫😰 Because I check in at 1:45am, and need to wake up early, so I get no time to ask for the house keeper to change.

原来以为楼下是免税商场 还能看海 结果商场感觉快要倒闭的样子 零零星星 根本没有什么好逛的 海边一股腥味 有鱼贩在卖鱼 环境实在没多好 而且远离市区 每次出入都要打的 但酒店内部环境还是不错的 好大 感觉适合商务人士来开会入住 提前到达也不能办理入住 wifi在房间基本没信号 要出去走廊才能用

Hotel was old. Room smelled like an old wet rag. Toilet leaked from the top. My rooms phone was not working at all. Wall switches were falling off. Missing face towels. Hotel Parking was extremely far from lobby and rooms. Driving out of the hotel, has to go through checkpoint to get checked even though we're not from the ferry terminal. No direct walkway to nearby food stalls

Poor ,hope there try hard to be better.
Front office a lady did not know how to handle as she never give back my change,as i book 2 transaction, ias i told he to calculate together but she refused to,end up cockup the transaction, Hotel is abit dirty,alot or mold n fungus in the room, towel cant be changed for the 4days stay, as the staff says out of towel, room service are too late ,they came in to change around 4pm , wifi are limited access, keep logging out n cant log in. Breakfast are ok,

The moment I stepped into the hotel room, I could smell cigarettes. Went to the toilet and when I turned the faucet/tap, the water was black at first then turned yellow and it took awhile before it turned to normal water colour. Hotel room flooring/carpet extremely dirty and the bed was kinda itchy so I suspect bed bugs or something. The hotel room itself is massive but very run down and poorly maintained. Would not consider staying in this hotel ever again unless it has been fully renovated or something.

Service staffs are okay. There is complimentary carpark but at the adjoined mall carpark, not the out front open space carpark. Have to pay different price for different lots… What’s not okay about the hotel: - daily exit have to go through custom check as the hotel is within the DFS area. - Hot water in shower does NOT work, only hot water in bathtub works. Not even the basin tap. - cards to access hotel rooms are faulty, have to go to the counter to “renew” the access which is the 1st time ever to encounter such thing… ^ both hot water & door access issue was checked by technicians but unable to solve. - 4 lifts, 16 levels, waited over 3 mins for 1 lift that stops every other level on the way down. - Common corridor is not well lit enough and not safe for any kids beyond waist height to be near and the railings are low, serious safety hazard. - No utensils / pot / pan provided in suite room, not sure what the kitchenette is for. Stayed in many hotels in JB, this is just 1 of the other one would not recommend.

Never return to this hotel again. Tried to check in three times, 1st time 9pm, 2nd 12pm, 3rd time 3am. Found many excuses To let me wait. 3am check in I requested refund for 1st date and they don’t agree. Terrible experience!!!

The staff and the level of service was excellent but the property clearly needs some further investment to match the quality of the service the staff give. All were polite, courteous, friendly and helpful This is a massive hotel with amazing facilities that just requires a little more strategic planning for maintenance and support from the group to the management. The location and opportunities that will arise from further investment, particularly the closeness of international borders, should be re-visited by the group owners following the pandemic. This would be with the forthcoming Singapore MRT expanding into Malaysia in the next couple of years. S Tytherleigh

The rooms in need to revamp.Toilet bath sink, doors might need some repair as one of our room had a bit difficulty in opening. We had our stay with low pressure of water n the other room no heater...water was discoloured as well n we're not sure if it's even clean for shower however we just make do with. We love the breakfast, we love the interior of the palm lounge and we love every interior of the hotel, the beautiful view of the ocean and best of all that we enjoyed during our stay was all of Berjaya hotel Staffs!!!! Thats what bring us wanting to keep staying from now onwards besides the beautiful views y'all had but beautiful people who dedicate themselves for the hotel as well. Overall it was never a bad stay for me n my family n all my 5 kids! Truly one accommodating accomodation we had for our family trip! Thank u much Berjaya Waterfront Hotel and The entire Zon!

Nightmare stay
Check in at 1030pm and takes 2hours to get my room. Reception said no booking shown on their system which I saw a similar review for this hotel. When manager finally approved to let me have a room first, it was already 12.30midnight. Changed room 3 times for a 2 night stay, first room shower head spoil, bed sheet and pillow case had tons of brown stains. Numerous visit to the reception and numerous phone calls yet no actions. Frustrating that after 3hours finally get to change a room for my shower and head out to visit the city. 2nd room given was downgraded, smaller room and aircon was very weak, whole room is warm and humid and wash basin tap water is weak. 3rd room aircon wind is strong but it’s not cold only wind. Shower water strength weak and toilet tub is shaky. Overall it’s a nightmare stay. First and last time visit to this hotel, strongly not recommended.

Front desk receptionist staff said that there aren't any records found to my reservation. She also said that currently there aren't rooms available. After many conversations, she told me that she managed to get a last room for me. Upon checking, there are no towels in the room. Had to go down to the reception counter 2 times just to get the towels to be send over. Nearly an hour to get the towels send. And the time is reaching to midnight. Very frustrated with the service.
