Great place to stay for those that don't necessarily put value on just a franchise name. Yes it is a bit older but I was impressed with how clean and maintained it was. If traveling in this area I don't have a problem recommending staying here.

This motel is great for the price. It is an older property but very clean and comfortable. There is a manager on site at all times which helps keep the property nice. The rooms are straightened and cleaned daily something you don't find in a motel like this. The rooms are extremely clean. The carpets are clean also. I can tell because I always wear socks in a room and my socks have never been dirty. The property is older so it is not luxury but if you are looking for clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced then Dollar Inn is for you. I have stayed several times and will again when I make it back to the area.

I recommend the Dollar Inn to anyone visiting Somerset, especially for those staying more than night. Unlike the larger motels, the owners provide daily housekeeping services. I was on vacation and I enjoyed the low rates and the fridge,

The place is clean and you get what you paid for. The bed was lumpy and the rotting pickup out front should be towed. Other than that it was fine.

I’m not saying this is a luxury hotel, by any means. But in terms of value, it’s tremendous. Much less expensive than most of the other alternatives in Somerset, but all the basics are covered. Clean “vintage” room, easy access from car to room. Up on a hill, not in one of the sketchier areas of Somerset. Easy access to the highway. No one’s looking for a resort in Somerset, so this hotel is just fine.

Room was clean, shower had good pressure and hot water, tv worked good. There is also a small microwave and mini fridge. Air conditioner at the window was very loud, also the fan in the bathroom was also pretty loud. Instant coffee and hot water not provided in room. Very quiet location back from the main road.

Okay. This is a one to two star property. Older and dated. However, it was very clean and well maintained! I needed an overnight while attending a two day class in the area. Clean room and a place to rest. This facility hit the mark. Quiet also even though was convenient to the PA turnpike. I would stay here again.

When I’m traveling, I have two main criteria. Those two are, “clean” and “safe.” This hotel checked both boxes. If you’re looking for fancy, free breakfast, cool things, keep looking. But if you just want a clean, safe, nice place to stay, you won’t do much better.
