The accommodation was of a very high standard. The staff weee incredibly helpful and the location was perfect. The rooms were very cozy and comfortable. The common areas were welcoming and we spent a lovely afternoon lounging in the comfy chairs reading and absorbing the beautiful views. Breakfast was a real treat as was afternoon tea. We had a really enjoyable couple of nights. The owner’s commitment to their guest experience was obvious, they took pride in providing a superior stay. It enhanced our trip and we were passed on ‘local knowledge’ about where to go in the town. Having the opportunity to talk with other travellers and hear of their experiences, further enriched our trip. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing weekend, during the summer. The property is chocolate box gorgeous. The rooms are superb; very clean, with a big comfortable king bed, and a fabulous shower. Clair and David make you feel so welcome, and are very knowledgeable of the local area. The continental breakfast was delicious, and very welcome after an early morning of fly fishing. We would highly recommend this lodge, and hope to stay here again.
