The hostess is very kind and welcoming. She has paid such attention to each detail. It was great to feel at home on such an old sheep farm and to feed the animals. Being able to paddle with the platypuses in the rivulet was most delightful of all. A restful stay at Rathmore.

The house is nice and clean. We are enjoyed so much. However, we could not find the staff when we arrived and had some trouble getting into the house. Luckily the neighbours are great for help.

We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. Owner friendly and welcoming. Lovely, comfortable cottage. The bed was very confy and all rooms spaciousWe also enjoyed all the extras, port, fudge, shortbread & wine etc. Good range of teas & pod coffee. Only 1 star less was dirtydue to some dirtydishes and pots as well as the coffee thrfrother
