We loved this resort. It actually exceeded expectations. The pool was nicely heated for our girls to swim. Room was spacious and clean. It is nicely located on the beach. Service at the bar was a little slow but staff was friendly enough. We would stay here again.

It was fogging both days. Our door did not lock so we had to switch rooms. Apparently alot of the locks are broke. Check yours. Cute town. Must see is driftwood beach. We rwnred a golf cart and drove around. It was a bit chilly.

Booked a two day ocean view suite king bed w/ patio...received a two beds. Last minute booking because Westin Jekyll Island was sold out. Light bulbs out in bathroom. Couch and pillows in living room were fatigued. Dead plants in the patio planters. Attempted to get a coffee five minutes before closing at the coffee shop, of course denied but told there are coffee shops within a 10 minute walk. I checked out a day early...btw I still haven't received my final bill via e-mail. I cannot recommended this hotel.

I recently stayed at your Marriott hotel and was extremely disappointed with the experience. Our room had a stained carpet and we were provided with only two towels, despite being three guests. Additionally, breakfast was not included, and we had to visit reception twice due to a malfunctioning keycard. On check-out day, we requested a late check-out at 10:45 AM, given the fact, we lost 20-30 minutes going up and down twice Bc of the central computer giving them issues with the e-cards, but the receptionist denied it, stating we hadn't inquired about it earlier. After escalating to the manager, we were granted an extra hour, with an apology citing "NYE busyness" - ironic, given the hotel was nearly empty. The service was unaccommodating and unsatisfactory. I hope you address these issues to improve guest experiences.

Made reservations in the morning for couple with two children. Arrived in the evening ready to enjoy winding down and sleeping. Got out key and made the walk to our room. There were no linens. The pillows were on the floor and there was mud ( or something) in the shower. Room 2 had three towels for our family of four. That’s fine, we walked downstairs to get more on our way to the hot tub. The front- desk reminded us that the pool and hot tub close at 10. We walked out and found that it was closed early. That’s okay, we decided to go inside and play a game. It was broken. Maybe, we could get a good night sleep. The flashing light in the corner of the room (every 30 seconds like a camera strobe) annoyed us and kept our night from being restful. A complimentary cup of coffee would be good in the morning, but I looked in the reservoir on the coffee maker and it was dirty. The place seemed well built, but we saw other dirtiness. Had hoped for better. Upon arrival in late evening we went to the room only to find no linens

Me and my fiancé stayed at the courtyard a week ago and had really no issues up until check out. After we check out, we left the island and I noticed a charge in my bank account for $150. I called the hotel immediately have someone explain to me why I was being charged that amount. The girl at the front desk informed me that it was because a housekeeper went up to our room to clean it but instead recorded a video to show the desk staff that our room was trashed and left a complete mess and damaged parts of the room. I informed her that this cannot be correct that I’m 35 and a cop and do not party and I’ve never in my life once left a hotel room in disarray. In fact at the end of my stay, I always pile all the sheets and towels together and organize all the trash in one bag try to help out the staff with cleaning. When I informed the young lady about this, she immediately said she was going to refund the full amount back to my bank account and I will see it this week. I have yes to be refunded that amount back full amount has been charged and came out of my bank. I am very disgusted with this experience and now will no longer be booking with Marriott. I will be contacting their corporate headquarters to resolve this issue and get my refund.
