Beautiful property. Long drive into the facility that is very curvy which makes it a very private stay. The villas are a little dated but very clean and lots of room for family to have their own space. We will definitely be staying here again.

The house was comfortable. Far too many steps for me. It made took my comfort level from 100 percent to 80 percent. If you are perfectly ambulatory then this is a great place to get away. The pool is very nice.

Great place great people

I really can’t say enough good things about our stay, the front office staff are amazing. The property was very clean and well kept. Big canoe is a large area with plenty of things to do as well as attractions near by right outside of big canoe. Whether your coming for a weekend or a week you won’t be disappointed.

Recreation Amenities the Biggest Plus

The recreation amenities make this spot. The pool and swim beach had friendly, helpful staff. There were plenty of chairs and even with a lot of guests never felt crowded. The villas are dated and dark on the inside but the bed was beyond comfortable and updated bathroom was nice. Had everything you needed. Be aware of lots of stairs in all parts of Big Canoe.

Great place, near a few hikes and the trails inside Big Canoe are phenomenal as well. We even had a little snow! I wish the wellness center wasn’t $20/day so I could have used it daily. But that’s not the rentals, it’s big canoe pricing.

My family and I, of 5, travel often and have stayed at many different properties across the US but the looks at Petit Crest Villas were a bit deceiving. Check in was a breeze and the property is beautiful. However, spiders ran rampant, our master sheets were never cleaned and the cost of amenities were never disclosed. Even if we were renting thru RCI or Interval a cost for swimming or any other extra curricular is still mandatory. I definitely wouldn’t not let this detour your opinion but it would be something to look onto before booking.

You MUST be physically fit to stay here !!! Our parking place was on the side of a hill, we choose to park on a flat place down from the villa but that meant trying to walk up the blacktop hill, around a tree on broken blacktop then up a flight of steps which is difficult for us at 70. No shampoo or body wash provided. Had to take sheets off beds before leaving, and leave keys in unlocked key drop box, Furniture from 70's, not comfortable at all. Won't stay there again !!!

The inside looked like it had been recently renovated. It was more than enough room for 8 people. The kids loved the loft! The location was great. We came in late winter/early spring and it was perfect hiking weather with the kids. The kitchen was more than large enough to make pizzas for dinner and bacon and pancakes for breakfast. I highly recommend taking their suggestion of bringing your own streaming device if you want to do movie night; they make set up very easy. We can’t wait to come back in the summer when we can take advantage of more of the amenities.
