Have stayed here before with little to no issue. This time however the hotel was undergoing some sort of technical update which required a person to open my room door every single time I needed to gain access (instead of handing me a room key). This was really inconvenient and I wish they would have called to tell me this was happening prior to my stay as it seemed like this was a multi-day project. I will be staying somewhere else next time that also offers a restaurant.

The huge problem was that none of the occupants could have a key for their rooms, as a computer glitch prevented coding the keys. It is not acceptable to not have a room key. The front desk person had to open my room every time, which limited the times I chose to leave the room. This had been already going on for 4 days when I checked in. This is a serious enough problem that I would like a partial refund. Otherwise, the staff was pleasant and cooperative and the room was well appointed, though it had an unpleasant smell. Location right downtown was excellent.

The room was clean and fresh looking. The water was warm for the shower… Comfy bed and pillows and we really appreciate the fact that you will allow pets. We have a small dog that travels with us, he is very well-behaved and does not make messes at all in the room. Room is priced within our budget.

Had to switch rooms three times as a/c was not working in the first two. Entire hotel smells of mold/mildew. Pool was closed during our visit. There are consistently employees/others just hanging outside on folding chairs smoking. Card reading system went down...not the fault of the employees at the desk...BUT...they were MISERABLE with the customers. Downright rude. Terrible experience and our last stay at a LaQuinta.

Both the LaQuinta's mashine which u=issues the room access cards and their credit card mashine did not work when we arrived, delayeing out sign in and room occupation 2 hrs. TV remote did not work. Faucet in bathroom constantly dripped. no handle bar in the supposdly handicap-accessible room.
