"All the staff and general manager Mr Kunal were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond their duties. Even the security team made us feel safe and secure. We left our kids for few hours and they made sure they didn't leave the complex and we're kept safe. Joshua, Joe, Kunal, and the all the team in the kitchen catered for all our needs. Alma Boutique Hotel

Jambiani

10/10 Excellent

We had such a wonderful stay at Alma during our first night in Zanzibar. They were able to arrange a driver for us from the airport, and it was a very smooth process. The rooms are beautiful, the beach gorgeous, and the food/drinks delicious. What stands out about this place, though, is its friendly service. Everyone was so kind, helpful, attentive, and ensured we had a magical time. Special shout-outs to Jamila at the front desk and Fathinely in the restaurant who took such extra great care of...

The reviews on this place did not serve it justice! I was blown away at the amenities that were not mentioned. When you arrive you are greeted with a welcome drink and cleansing towel. There is a restaurant on site and you basically get a concierge that you can message whenever you need something. They even provide a grocery list of things they can shop for you and will do your laundry (both for a fee). Shuttle to sister hotel to go to the beach was a good plus (no fee). Staff was...

Villa Bluu

10/10 Excellent

My stay was absolutely phenomenal! I would recommend this property 100 times over the staff were so nice, professional, accommodating, and their hospitality was through the roof. The food was delicious and the property was clean! But the thing that stood out to me the most was I had my bags not make it on my flight and they were so accommodating. They stayed up to wait for me and sent me all the information I needed and prepared me two hot meals that were ready in my room upon my arrival. that...

- the communication with the hotel owner was smooth - there were no unpleasant surprises waiting for us - everything in other reviews was 100% correct - we were picked up from the airport - the beach bungalow was ready and always clean - the staff was very nice and helpful - the breakfast served at the porch (nice view of the beach) - the beach was clean and accessible right from the bungalows (low tide - nice walks, high tide - water was 3m from the resort) - food and cocktails were...

On arrival we were greeted by the manager Tony who was great throughout the trip. The check-in was hassle free. The property is nice and upgraded. There is minor renovations going on but without any inconvenience to guests. The resort was very private and feels like you have the entire staff and property all to yourself with minimal visibility of other guests except for the dining area. There are no nearby restaurants to venture off to but the hotel food was excellent and no complaints. There...

Wow if I told about everything amazing about the Nur beach hotel 1500 characters would not be enought. Its an amazing new hotel (July 2015) with 10 bungalows. It has a great swimming pool in the middle of it with an amazing view on in my opinion the best beach in Zanzibar. Rooms get cleaned everyday, you get also beach towels. The staff is so amazing and friendly that you will feel like at home and will be very sad when leaving from there. The food is very good, we enjoyed the tapas every...

Lovely resort for R&R after our safari. They arranged a taxi to and from the airport which was extremely helpful. They even arranged one for us in Dar es Salaam which was a huge stress reliever. That customer service was above and beyond. The facility had a lovely place to sit by the ocean and pool. The pool was the perfect temperature. Had it not been for the intense sun I would have stayed in it all day. The food was good and they were very flexible on availability. There was always...
