Overall a good stay!

Overall our stay at the Ramada Encore Hotel was pleasant, the hotel was clean and the staff generally very polite. The breakfast was varied with lots of options. There are two inherent issues which we encountered with the hotel, the WiFi and the noise. Firstly, the WiFi has a username and pasword for each room, however the credentials stop working every second day requiring calling the reception for support. Regarding noise, the Hotel is very popular for various parties which take place on the 1st and 2nd floors. Unfortunately these parties tend to go on until 2 or 3am in the morning and as a result makes it occasionally difficult to sleep with the noise.

Location is good. A/c fan was very disturbing. Paking staff not good. Always looking for Tip. For ladies lighting system is not good. In bathroom should have more brighter lights. Staff is good. Stayed 6 nights breakfast is same every morning. Should pay more attention on morning breakfast variety. I was supposed to pay my dues at checkout time but at checkin time I was asked to pay full due amount. This is sad situation. Overall enjoyed my stay.

Satisfactory only Sanitation in rooms was poor Cleaners need training as remnants of hair in shower from previous occupant was present and not cleaned even after request . The rooms were dusty and not cleaned well; towels were threadbare I feel it is not the cleaners fault but the volume of work that they are given which reduces the standards as they are forced to skimp Noise from events and lack of sound proofing made the stay worse Request for a room change were dismissed by one of the receptionist I sensed apathy in staff and lack of motivation in Reception There were very good staff like Sachan in the breakfast lounge who worked tirelessly to help the guests and meet their food requests The friendly man who cleaned reception and guided me via stairs on first day was always a joy to see The management team helped with printing and luggage weighing I stayed at another hotel nearby a few months previous and had a totally brilliant experience where staff could not do enough to accommodate guests and standard of cleanliness and food selection was so much more superior and the cost of room was similar Overall this hotel is in a good location and in satisfactory condition but could improve significantly and benefit from its prime location by addressing the concerns of its guests to encourage them to rebook The first impression needs to be stellar for guests to inspire immediate confidence and security with motivated and accommodating reception staff

Well located.

Location was very good. Staff, especially Mr Varun the DM was helpful. Breakfast had sufficient variety. Would have however appreciated the famous Punjabi Kulcha. But despite comfortable beds with the firm mattress, yet the pillows were not soft enough. Overall, if in Jalandhar, may stay again.
