At check in, we requested a roll away bed due to the fact the person with me had booked a room and it was cancelled somehow. When we finally got up to the room, there was a roll away bed with no bedding. We called the front desk and they brought us a blanket. While waiting for the blanket we noticed the room was extremely hot. The thermostat was reading 77/78 and the temp was set at 70. So I attempted to drop the temp more, and the ac never cut on. We requested a room change since the ac was apparently not working properly. They did move us.
The next room, the ac was working great. Room felt cool and comfortable. However, after getting everything situated we noticed there was sticky cup marks all over the coffee area as well as the nightstand. A bottle of Crown Royal was found inside the fridge. The coffee packs with sugar and cream were opened. The shower had mold. The tv didn’t work. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. Some of the comp items, soaps shampoos etc were missing.
Since I booked thru hotels.com the only thing I could do was request another room. But the hotel was already packed. The changing rooms again didn’t sound fun. So we cleaned the room a little and then just went to bed. I left without showering due to the mold.
Also, the elevators smelled like straight marijuana half the time. And there were people smoking it right outside the front door.
Overall, for a Hilton hotel, I was shocked. I expected way more from a Hilton
