「Staff lovely, room clean and comfortable, parking easy. BUT… room was close to the corridor fire doors and main doors. Felt like the doors were banging behind our heads every time they closed. Really dreadful night’s sleep meant a super hard day and a difficult drive home the next night. A hotel has one job, a good night’s sleep. 「Clean and tidy overall. Staff are attentive and professional. However, rooms facing the carpark were noisy overnight. I need asking for changing my room to the other side of the hotel.」

「Welcomed on check in. Room was clean and spacious only issue was low water pressure so struggled to wash my hair!! Not the accommodation fault it’s just one of those things. Would stay here again if coming to Chester. Great location and had breakfast here which was very nice and very good price. 」

「Ideally situated for us to get to the main attractions near by. Plenty of car parking spaces. Reception very helpful. My room was very spacious bed a bit on the hard side but there’s nothing like your own bed. Bathroom en-suite and both were immaculately clean. We ate at the hotel and that was also of a good standard. Would definitely recommend and stay again.」

「Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. 」
