「Polite staff and very clean room」

「It had a beautiful view of the mountain in the morning from the balcony. Easy access to transportation. A 7-Eleven on the corner, which made it convenient to buy supplies. The only drawback To have to walk up and down the hill and that really wasn’t that bad.」

「The room was spacious and clean! We also had a beautiful mountain view, it was amazing to wake up to it in the morning. The lamphouse is right in the heart of Canmore, close to restaurants, shopping boutiques, and more. The staff were very accommodating as well. We asked if we could leave our car after the 11 a.m. checkout, and they kindly allowed us to park until 4 p.m. Overall, a great stay!」

「We loved our stay at Hotel Grande. It has a dedicated parking garage for guests (two-level basement) as well as an elevator for ease of transporting luggages. 「The hotel was really beautiful. But when we arrived the hotel said, Expedia booked the city view but I actually ordered a garden view from Expedia which was more expensive online. They couldn’t give us the garden view coz it wasn’t anymore available. That was a failure in Expedia’s duty. I was quite disappointed with Expedia. Hotel tried to make up by offering a lower rate since we decided to stay longer. Expedia people did not do a Good Job! 」

「The property is all good and quiet (except the cooker is faulty). It is walkable distance to the market and parks, although it can get really busy with traffic. The room is clean, relaxing - there’s hot water in the shower but it doesn’t last long, it gets cold before you even finish showering. No lift to go up to your room nor down, so if you have lots of luggage it’s a struggle, especially if your room is on the top, and stuff won’t help to take your belongings upstairs so be prepared for...
