I made the right choice when booking at this Hotel I stayed from 2nd to 5th October 2024 and I want to make a special note for the welcoming at the reception and thanks to Ali for his kindness and readiness to help all the time. The rooms are spacious and well decorated and cleanliness is perfect. Bathroom amenities are available and of quality Wide range of items in breakfast. 5/5 for the location as it is in a very secured area and close to restaurants, Metro, tramway and bus stations The room rate is very acceptable. I highly recommend Sogut Old City Hotel

This hotel was definitely worth the stay and the price. I stay in a lot of hotels and have paid much more for the same kind of room. The staff were amazing particularly Omer on reception! Super warm and a friendly and could not have done any more for us! We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again. For my fellow vegans- The location for vegan food wasn’t great as we found all the vegan places were on the other side of the river, still only a 25 minute drive away from what seemed to be most of the vegan food places but still easy enough to get too-also plenty of food places near by and shops to grab a snack or drink! Lobby was nice enough and everywhere was clean!

Excellent location

The average hotel in Istanbul. The truth is we were mostly looking for an ideal location and indeed the location is very good. Things to improve: Renovation of rooms and especially the bathroom, variety of breakfast, that the staff will be more smiling. (Omar was lovely and one of the more social workers), the rest unfortunately not. Not bad value for the price

Staffs were extremely disrespectful. When I first arrived, they put me in a room with thin walls, broken shower, wall in wall and pulled couch out bed (after I paid for a normal bed). When I first try requesting for a new room on my own, they were not paying me no mind until I contacted my booking company (cheapticket.com). With assistance from my booking company, I was able to get a better room with better bed, no wall in the wall and better shower.

Bon rapport qualité prix

J'ai passé un super séjour à cet hôtel ! La situation géographique était parfaite proche du métro ( vezencler ) et proche de la ligne de tram (T1 ) vous pouvez même vous rendre à pied au grand bazaar , le personnel à la réception était vraiment gentil et accueillant. Je tiens à mentionner Ali, qui a été très attentionné en nous permettant de laisser les enfants se reposer le jour d’arriver . Cependant, le petit-déjeuner était un peu répétitif , pas varié et pas très savoureux, et le monsieur qui tient le resto n’était pas tres souriant . De plus, il était un peu gênant d'être constamment observé par ce monsieur au restaurant. Malgré ces petits désagréments, je recommande quand même cet hôtel pour sa bonne situation et son personnel sympathique ! À bientôt, Zako 😊🏨

Le camere non erano della dimensione dichiarata sul sito, forse la metà sestava un pò stretti ma i letti erano comodi. Non siamo maniaci della pulizia ma il bagno lo abbiamo ripulito per bene, si vede che il livello di pulizia nostro non collima con il livello dell'albergo. La struttura comunque è buona ed è anche in buona posizione per la visita delle principali attrazioni sia storiche che moderne di Instanbul. La metro M2 e il tram T1 sono a pochi minuti a piedi dall’Hotel.

Albergo con camere piccole. La pulizia sufficiente, ma entrare in una stanza e trovare rotolo di carta igienica già parzialmente utilizzato non è il top. Ben posizionata anche se di sera/notte si ci sente un po’ insicuri per strada (solo una sensazione).
