After a long travel day, we were lucky enough to meet the supervisor, Hatice, at the front desk after we checked in. She was extremely welcoming and helpful with any of our requests. The rooms were spotless and beautiful, the spa was immaculate and the service was just outstanding! We are frequent guests of Sofitel in Dubai and San Francisco, so experiencing the wonderful service, especially by Hatice, has made us excited to come back in a few months!

Everything about this hotel is first-class. The rooms are well-appointed and have great views (most of them). The staff is well-informed and unfailingly courteous and professional. Special praise for Muzaffer, the room attendant on the 4th floor. He was efficient, professional, and very friendly. I should that in general the location is excellent— many shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Absolutely loved my stay!

Absolutely loved my stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff were so friendly and welcoming – it really made me feel at home. The breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh options to choose from. The location couldn’t be better if you want to stay right in the center of Taksim. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Istanbul!

It was a great hotel with very good support staff. The staff was very frinedly and helpful The only improvement we suggest is on the higher level floors, there was loud music sound coming from near by hotel playing music even after fully closing the window that the hotel management need to do something

Not a bad hotel but the pool is filthy.

The room was clean and tidy and a decent space. Checked in and went to the roof top pool to relax after our flight only to be horrified by a dirty pool. Shocked to see this at the hotel. The staff were all friendly and the location is good.
Filthy pool. No signs to say it’s closed.
Not been cleaned for months.
I wouldn’t want to swim in this.

A very big thank you again to Sofitel. An absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff are fabulous and so helpful. Thank you to Aye for excellent housekeeping. Thank you to Utku, Eray, Sezgin, Emre, Kaan, Aykan and the gentlemen at the hairdressing salon for your Turkish hospitality. Best hotel in the area Soficat will also be missed.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Our suite was very spacious and modern with a nice city view. Loved the little balcony! The staff was wonderful and offered all the Expedia VIP perks including room upgrade. Highly recommend this hotel.
